At A New, Better Life we understand that even though our Members have every Intention to Start, Follow, Complete and in Vast Majority of cases keep attending their Programme to get to their desired results, it is possible that along the way, in rare cases, issues might come up which do not allow them to do so.
Therefore, if for any Accepted Valid reason/s (the reason/s should be emailed to: info@anewbetterlife.com), a Member has to PAUSE / Stop a programme, their Membership could be frozen after a review from Accounts and/or Administration.
As of the 1st of January 2023, we have introduced a 14-Day Money Back Guarantee for Programmes being bought by a New Member for the first time, even though we have no legal obligation to do so.
Please note that the Maltese law states that gym membership purchased cannot be cancelled during the 14 day withdrawal period, as The Consumer Rights Regulations lists a number of exceptions from the right of withdrawal.
One of these exceptions relates to services related to leisure activities if the programme provides for a specific date or period of performance.
Hence, as the gym membership was purchased for a specific period, then in this case the right of withdrawal does not legally apply (Article 18 (l) Consumer Rights Regulations).”
But, Even though the Refund option is not available by law, we have made all of the below options Normally Available (and are Accepted by A New, Better Life) in Most Cases;
– The programme is frozen and ‘Member’ can resume attending In-Person and/or Online, any time in the future, when the situation is more comfortable for him/her and make use of all the Mentioned Accepted Credit by simply letting A New, Better Life know if she/he will be attending In-Person and/or Online so that A New, Better Life let Member know their options for how the credit can be used.
– Alternatively with A New, Better Life’s consent, ‘Member’ can Gift / Sell their Membership to a person who is currently not a Member of A New, Better Life. They can also make use of the programme immediately or at any future time that they prefer, they don’t necessarily have to start immediately.
- ‘Member’ would not have to reply with an answer immediately as in such a case, Membership is Frozen and is for Member to use/gift/sell in the near/distant future.
